If you start the torch on the shrink tubing at the bottom, you take advantage that heat rises and you won't scorch the shrink tubing. Nothing says "Quality work" better than scorched shrink wrap or nicks in your conductor. And that's a hellacious dielectric. No phase tape. Makes me wonder if this is even in the US. Yeah, there's sharpie letters, but sharpie disappears just cause of the air. And they're pretty strict about phasing your conductors here in the USA.

4:05 it’s better to start tape wrapping at the bottom and move up towards the top. This way each wrap covers the top edge of the last the way that shingles do and help prevent water getting under the tape.

looking at the cable, I think that some-one misplaced a decimal point, as one would not want to use any voltage below 400V/3phase for any substantial length .. this looks like 200V and looking for a 1.5% drop. maybe this is cheaper than a transformer in the short run. the cable looks to be 2.5cm dia. PLUS the definition of " Medium Voltage Cables" is 2.4kV and above.. so is it MW that we are really looking at?

You never wanna use a constructive material to secure MV cables inside equipment. Proper application would've been some sort of fiberglass bracing. Was not fond of the stress cones on those MV terminations. Tying and bonding to a grounded rod or job ground-loop may have been a better idea. I've had to do so even on smaller, pad-mounted XFMRs.
